Dispatchers can enter status updates directly into the uRoute portal. 2. Drivers can provide real-time status updates from their smartphones, 3. EDI (electronic data interchange). uRoute provides easy to follow light indicators so transportation managers can easily pin point shipments that need immediate attention.

uRoute uses its proprietary messaging system to thread communications between shippers and carriers. Messages that are entered into uRoute are attached to each shipment and RFQ. RFQ deadlines, fuel surcharges, contracts and other pertinent documents can be presented in uRoute's organized and web accessible RFQ tool.
